Refreshing Herb-Infused Water
Fruit is tasty for helping you stay hydrated and healthy, but don't forget about herbs for a simple way to punch up your water on a hot day!
The best thing about herbs is that if you have a small garden or planter, you'll always have some fresh greenery available to add a little color and flavor to your day.
- Grab some leaves of mint, thyme, rosemary, basil, dill, or sage. (Go light on the rosemary if you choose it, as it can be overpowering.
- Gently muddle or tear them to break the cell walls and release their essential oils and flavors.
- Let them infuse for a few hours at least, ideally overnight.
- Strain if you prefer, serve cold, and enjoy!
